As a freelance designer and consultant, Francesca has gained over a decade of international experience in creating luxury products for businesses in the jewellery, high jewellery, and smart accessories sectors.

 

From a very early age, she followed her father around laboratories and ateliers in Valenza, the Italian goldsmith district, and international antiques and jewellery fairs. She was soon fascinated with the poetry of craftsmanship, gemstones, and objects imbued with such storytelling and meaning. Having spent a large part of her childhood drawing and crafting, Francesca designed her very first piece of jewellery when she was a little girl. As she recalls, that was the moment she decided she would have kept on making things.

 

​Francesca has lived and worked as a designer in Milan, Rome, London, and Paris, experiences that profoundly shaped her, both personally and professionally, nurturing and informing her creative process. She has worked with prestigious brands and established companies such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Picchiotti, and Diesel among others, as well as independent labels and designers. She currently collaborates as a designer and consultant with selected luxury brands and businesses internationally, combining design excellence, innovation, and craftsmanship to deliver unique and memorable solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.

Francesca holds a Master's Degree in Product Design from London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Università degli studi di Parma.
