Francesca Neri has been interested in gems and jewellery from an early age.
During her university years, she worked as an apprentice in a jewellery laboratory in Valenza, the main goldsmith district of Italy, and designed her first pieces.
After obtaining a bachelor's degree in economics and management, she attended a jewellery design course at Politecnico di Milano and started working as a designer in Rome. She then moved to London to work as fashion jewellery and accessory designer. Subsequently, she earned a master's degree at Central Saint Martins and went on working as a high jewellery designer at Van Cleef & Arpels.
Fascinated by the creative process, Francesca creates unconventional, fresh pieces with a playful soul and a story to tell. By questioning the status quo of traditional techniques and manufacturing processes, Francesca applies an innovative perspective, turning jewellery inside out. She collaborates with
Italian artisans and laboratories.
